Last night, much to Emma's delight, I spent the night in her room. We played a little, got our bed all cozy, watched a movie (Indian in the Cupboard), and played Monopoly Junior. Then, we fixed the bed again, and got cozy. We snuggled, and finally got to sleep. We awoke this morning to a thunderstorm, the power going out breifly, and my face killing me. See, I used a pillow pet as a pillow, and had made a fist under the pet. Therefore, my fist against my already sore side of my mouth equalled "ow!" lol.
We had fun, though. I am glad I did this. Emma had wanted me to sleep in there. I had told her I would do it before school starts again. This will be in little more than a week, so last night it was.
It is the simple things that make us the happiest, I think.
