The end is near.

The end is near.

Of summer, that is. Even though we are only 2/3 through July, Emma goes back to school this week. On Tuesday, we go to school to meet her teacher and fill out some paperwork. Then, her first full day is Thursday. I can't believe she is in 2nd grade. Crazy.

Emma had a good summer, albeit a quick one. She had four day camps. It started as two (Girl Scout Twilight Camp and Basketball Camp), and then Drama Camp came up, and finally we learned about "Pony Camp." She had a great time in the camps. I think Pony Camp was her fav. She loves riding! That camp was only 3 days, whereas the others were 5 days each.

Other than her camps, we had a mostly quiet summer. Lots of hanging out. Some gardening, some projects, a good amount of swimming. We also went to the Knoxville Zoo, which was fun.

I am still running. I'm taking it slow, but ran about 4 miles the other day (there were a few 1-2 minute walk breaks, though). I still haven't signed up for the 8k. Not sure yet.

In other news, I have a job interview on Tuesday. It is at the company where one of my best friends works at, so that is exciting. I would be moving if I get the job (just about 1 1/2 hours away).
