It's been raining for two days, and I woke up this morning to a tornado warning. I didn't hear the sirens go off, but I saw it on the tv. I decided to just keep Emma hope, rather than go out in a tornado warning for our town, and the flooded streets. This is probably good, since they ended up closing schools early anyway.
I have been experiencing really terrible pain over the past couple of days, too. It isn't just my usual joint pain, but more of an all-over achiness. My skin is super-sensitive and feels almost flu-like. My throat is hurting, too. I am starting to rethink the possiblity of having fibromyalgia (in addition to the lupus, of course). My friend (you know who you are- Cat) has this, so I'll have to consult her, as well as my doctor, I suppose. I don't know that there is much else they can do for me, though. Maybe switch my Wellbutrin to Cymbalta, which supposedly helps with both depression and fibro pain. We shall see.
Btw- I am not sure if the spell check is working on this or not. I am also unable to c/p to another page (meaning email or word) to check there.
Good call keeping Emma home! Especially considering what those same storms did to my town!!! And it does sound like fibro to me. Does it hurt to touch you? To wear anything but loose lounge-wear? and even that hurts?
ReplyDeleteYes, during these "episodes" it does hurt to touch me. Like super-sensitive and stuff. Yes to the clothes, too. I'm not like this all the time, though. It is just a sometimes thing. Not sure what this means.
