Brian had his gallbladder surgery yesterday. He was scheduled to be there at 10:30. We got there at like 10:20-10:25, and got called into the same-day surgery room (an itty-bitty room with an ittier-bittier bed, lol). We then waited until 6:10, which is when Brian was wheeled away. Yes, almost 8 hours. There were apparently 2 "emergencies."
I was allowed to see Brian at around 9. He was doing okay... you know, for having surgery and general anesthesia... lol. We stayed till about 10, and then went home. I dropped him off, got him settled, and went to Walgreen's to fill his rx. He is still sore and swollen, but hopefully he will get better daily.
