Spring Break

So Emma is on Spring Break. She gets the next 2 weeks off. As usual, we are having a low-key "vacation" from school. This consists mostly of: tv, playing, games, visits to the park, and we are also going to do some art projects and experiments. I may make another post with some of the pictures from these activities. I  struggle with being too "boring," but I find that if I just plan a few little things most days, we have a lot more fun. Emma also is better behaved when she is more... stimulated throughout the day. lol

What else...? Um, my Mom has been out of work, so she has been around more. It's good for her to get a break, and I am glad to get to spend more time with her. Hopefully she will find something soon, though.
I am also working on re-doing my resume, in hopes that I will get better results.

We have had some pretty major storms recently. There were some tornados, as well as "straight-line wind." We are okay, and had no damage. The house across the street is missing several shingles, though. I know there were some deaths nearby, too.

Brian's birthday was yesterday. We had a dinner of steak, mashed potatoes, and rolls. We had chocolate cake with ice cream. I ruined the first cake, and had to make another. Oops.

Tomorrow is our 4th wedding anniversary. Seems like longer... guess that's because we have been together for so much longer than that.
