So Emma has been in Kindergarten for about a month now. She really loves it, and has made several new friends. As a former "loner," this is very good news to me. Well, wait- who am I kidding? I still tend to be a shy loner... it just doesn't matter as much now, lol. Emma also gets to do an official gym class (rather than just her reg. teacher), music, library, and computer lab. These "extra" classes were always what made school fun for me, and I am glad she gets to be exposed to them, too.

In other news, we are currently without a car. We'll get another one when we can. I can borrow my mom's in the evening if I need to run errands (that can be done in the evening, that is). I've been walking Emma to and from school. It's about a 10 minute walk with Emma, and 5ish alone. Not too bad, and we do get a chance to talk and catch-up. So far we haven't had storms/rain. I am aware that this will not always be the case. I hope to get another vehicle before it gets colder (although colder than 96 degrees is A-OK! lol). The plan for a morning storm: call a cab. I think it's $4, so I will just try to keep that money aside, just in case.

There are a bunch of things going on right now... I've been pretty stressed. Hoping things get better soon.
