sinus infection and the 'roids

By "roids," I do not mean hemroids, thank you very much. :P

I went to the doctor today basically for med refills. I had to wait in the waiting room for longer than usual, and most of the people there seemed to be majorly "ailin." Like contagious ailin. I of course used my own pen to sign in and used hand sanitizer twice, plus on my way to my car.

As it turns out, though, I am ailin too. I have a sinus infection, as I thought I might. I'd been having pressure in my head (not that abnormal, but yeah), ears kinda bothering me, stuffy nose (not all that bad, though), and pain in my left nostril/sinus area. Soo... I got azithromycin and prednisone. I am actually glad about the prednisone, since it very well might help with my joint pain. She told me I probably should hold off on taking my regular inti-inflamitory until I'm done with the prednisone, since they both anti-inflame (is that a word? lol). I asked her what would happen, and she said I might bleed or get an ulcer. I just said okay, but truth be told, I will most likely take my chances with the ulcer. lol

It is snowy again today, though there is zero accumulation. This morning there were large flakes coming down rather steadily, but it tapered off. We have a "winter advisory." Schools will likely be closed for the remainder of the week.
