Well, today was my first official day as a full-time counselor at (un-named substance abuse treatment center). I am very glad to have the job. I've been hoping for this position for a year(ish). Today I worked like 10 1/2 hours. Long day. In the midst of the counselor change-over, there are full case-loads for all, and it's a little hectic. I like it, though. Time does go pretty fast while there. I guess that's a good sign.
I did not sleep well at all last night. I kept thinking about work, then dreaming of work, and then Emma had a bad dream about the aliens from "House." Guess it's time to not let her watch it anymore. :(
I guess I was just nervous/excited about my new position. I really hope to sleep better tomorrow. I have to go in early... like at 9:45 (gasp!), lol.
