As a family, we have been eating healthier and exercising. Like most times when I am on an "exercise kick," I want to run. For me, running has always been something I have wanted to do. I admire runners. I have started and stopped so many times. The main issue is that for some reason, running has always been so hard for me!
Well, this time around, I am making real progress. I am feeling encouraged. I believe I am going to do it: sign up for a 5k. I have wanted to do this, but always became discouraged before I ever got that far. After some searching, I have found a race in mid May. I am going to do another week's worth of walk/run workouts, and then take the plunge! I shall report back once I have signed up.
